Step1: Selecting Your Roof Rack based on your Sprinter Model

Selecting the appropriate roof rack for your Sprinter van model requires careful consideration of key factors. Refer to the image to choose the correct type.

Key Features of Our Sprinter Roof Racks:

  • Compatible with both Standard (Short) Roof (H1) and High Roof (H2) Sprinter models.
  • High Roof is Available in both Medium Wheelbase (L1) and Long Wheelbase (L2) versions.
  • Short Roof is only available in Medium Wheel Base (L1).


Step 2: Select Safari Roof Racks Mounting Option

Mounting to OEM Mercedes Roof Rails (Recommended) With this option Roof Rack can be mounted easily without needing interior access. Moreover, if you considering our Side ladders or poles system having oem roof rails enables easier bolting down the road.

Direct to Roof Brackets: Direct installation on the Roof remains feasible, utilising existing roof holes for brackets. It is advisable to complete this before any construction or fitout work, as internal access is necessary to secure the brackets. If internal access is not available, nut sert can still be used, with proper sealing to prevent leaks.

Step 3: Configuring Your Floor Decking

Your Sprinter's roof rack space is entirely customisable. Use this guide to configure your ideal setup.

Platform feature two t-slot rails measurement (A) you have the flexibility to add floor decking exactly as you see fit by utalising those rails, you can see two variable dimensions:

For long wheelbase vehicles, we recommend pairing with the Fiamma F45 S 450. Medium wheelbase models work best with the Fiamma F45 S 350 Awning.

There are many great solar options available, and the best choice often depends on how you plan to mount it. Orientation plays a big role, so we recommend reaching out to us to confirm compatibility with your setup.

We have experience installing the Hardkorr 170W Fixed Solar Panel, which has proven to fit East to West orientation quite nicely.

Do I need Mercedes Sprinter roof rails to install the platform?

Yes, the platform is designed to mount directly onto the factory-installed Mercedes Sprinter roof rails.
If your van doesn't have roof rails, a direct-to-roof mounting option may be available—please contact us to discuss your setup.

Is there a room to install a Weldbeat side ladder?

Absolutely. Our side ladder is versatile and can be installed either before or after the platform. The top of the ladder mounts using the roof rail, ensuring seamless integration.

Do you provide brackets to fit a solar panel?
